Two Bengal cats are welcomed into our office today!

These cute kitties are named as 'NeNe' and 'MoMo', which is from Korean word '네모 [ne:mo]' that means 'a square', and they will be together with us, as members of Waplestore.

Anyway, now we're introducing our new family, NeNe and MoMo to you! :)

Our company name Waplestore means 'a store which bakes Waple', and Waple stand for 'what people dream'. It's not a typo of 'waffle store', but the questions that many people ask us was "Do you guys bake a waffle?". -_-;

Well, we bake a waffle too, even though it's not a major work but one of our company's benefits. ^^;

So now, we're going to show you how we bake our own waffles. :)























Frankly, one of our dreams is to build our own building and open a real waffle store on the first floor. ^^;
We're now trying so hard to achieve the dream, watch us! :)

와플스토어의 귀여운(엇흠;;) 막내, 인턴 디자이너 Emily 인사드립니다.
 
지난 월요일에는 몇주간 쉼없이 달려온 와플스토어 식구들을 위한 Refresh Day 행사가 있었습니다!!
언제나 채찍과 당근을 마구마구 주시는 대표님께서 '쉬어가자..'라는 말씀과 함께 제안주셨는데, 철없는 인턴 Emily는 스케쥴 짜보라는 대표님의 말씀을 듣자마자부터 이날만 손꼽아 기다려왔다지요!!

Emily가 준비한 Refresh Day 일정은!!

1. 영화 보기 (Knight & Day)
2. 야외에서 고기뜯기 (Millennium Seoul Hilton, BBQ on the Terrace)

요렇게 간단하게 준비해보았습니다~

아참!! 마침 와플스토어를 방문해주신 이아스님께서 맛있는 샤브샤브 점심을 사주셨어요!! 정말 감사합니다. (__)
이날은 진정 와플스토어 식구들 뱃속에 기름칠 하는 날이었나봅니다~




카메론 디아즈와 그녀보다 키가 "조금" 작은 톰크루즈가 주연으로 나온 Knight & Day를 보았는데요,
요즘 스트레스를 받으시는 분들께 강력히 추천해드립니다!!



모두가 Emily의 탁월한 영화 선택을 칭찬하며 다음 스케쥴 장소인 힐튼 호텔로 향하는 길에 우리가 발견한 것은!!




바로 성인영화관이군요;; 인상 깊습니다.. 특히 막내의 순수한 호기심어린 눈빛 좀 보세요..




무척 즐거운 시간이었구요, 아직은 서투른 Emily의 스케쥴이지만 모두들 즐거워하며 따라주셔서 뿌듯했답니다!!
다음 달에 또 Refresh Day가 정해지면 그때는 더 즐겁고 더 신나는 스케쥴을 마련해볼께요!! >_ <

오늘하루 열심히 쉬었으니 내일부터는 열심히 업무에 집중해야겠죠!!

Just a few days ago, we've done to redo our office which is called as the Dream Bakery.

Ms. Emily, who is our first intern designer, have shown a great sense of creating interior items.
Now, we're going to show you how she did, with some pictures. :)



First, she illustrated a big iPhone and posted it on the main window. The iPhone has icons, which represent the materials and the tools for baking a waffle, and SmartDialer™ is on the dock. We now use this window as a whiteboard.



Second, she printed our slogan, 'we bake dreams', and posted it on the left wall. Now, we can see what we're doing at anytime we raise our head!



Third, she drew four animal characters, which represent our members, and put it on the stairs to the second floor. She said the illustration means 'we're baking a waple together'. :)



And fourth, she made the wish board. It was a instrument panel before, she taken off the label and posted her illustration. We posted on there what we want to have and what we want to be, and we now hope we can achieve all our wishes someday!



Last, she made a reading area on the second floor. However, I can't believe that our members have a time for reading books on there, because she put lots of snacks on the bookshelf! ^^;


Actually, I didn't expect her for the interior design, but now I really wonder what she do next! :)

We, the team Waplestore, had a workshop in Jeju Island last weekend.

It was our third workshop after we've met last October,
we planned long-distance trips, because we had two more workshops before, at the member's home.

Breathing fresh airs, having delicious foods, driving through the great sceneries, walking on the beach...
Everything, what we did together, was great and gave us positive energies!

I can't resist telling you what about our happy workshop, but I have to promise you to tell again now, because, I'm scheduled to leave the country tomorrow morning. T^T

The cost of the workshop was borne by each individual, because we don't target earning money yet.
I, as a leader of the team, really sorry about this to all our members. T^T
